And Eileen, along with hundreds of thousands of web designers, worked odd jobs, worked on some new web projects like the database driven site for the NYS Dispute Resolution Association, and pursued different opportunities, waiting to see what was next!
Eileen was recruited by Parasoft, a software development company in Los Angeles, to be the Creative Director for a new web based application called Predixis/FoodMagic. This full time telecommuting position involved coordinating a team of programmers in Krakow Poland with the content development team and management in LA, to launch the product.
Eileen Parzek, a NYS government employee "discovers" the World Wide Web and begins putting her own digital art and writings online. A few months later, she is hired by Dave Turpin at Log-N Computing to design web sites for his customers. Unable to maintain a full time job and the web design business, Eileen left her state job to start Turtle's Web Art & Design full time. During the following 5 years, she worked on over 200 web sites for web development companies and internet service providers world wide, from home.
