It's official: First impressions DO count in web site design

Since I've so often reminded people that you only get one chance to make a first impression, and I make my living helping small businesses make a BIG impression, I have to share with you this study. In a nutshell, these Canadian researchers concluded that site visitors form an opinion of a site in as little as 50 milliseconds. That first impression influences all subsequent judgements about the site. And another point made is that with such fast opinions being formed, a fast loading site is critical to success.
