I wanted to take this picture of a swimmer in the ocean, and blend it with the unusual stormy picture above right, to create a fantasy image I had in mind. Although its too complicated to explain how I did it exactly, you can compare the two originals to see some of the changes I made, such as eye color, mirroring the stormy sky onto the ocean, and removing the blue shadow in front of the swimmer.

Perhaps I saw this little fairy child in the nook of a tree when I went camping. Or maybe I just saw a little boy that looked a lot like a fairy child in the nook of a tree, had my digital camera, and got inspired.

Okay, I admit it. I changed the clothes color, removed some features of his shirt, added the hat (that is a little obvious) and the wings (even more so). Then I created a frame from scratch to put on it. But it almost makes you want to believe in fairies, doesn't it?
